Workforce Transition Plan
The Workforce Transition Plan describes the process and means by which employees will move from the current to future state.
For small-scale change programs the performance management, talent management and training & knowledge management dimensions of the change effort may be folded into the plan.
For larger change efforts those activities will called out as separate streams of activities built around interconnected plans. In each case be sure to include any activities arising from any reduction in total workforce numbers (redundancy budgeting, re-skill or up-skill training, job-seekers assistance etc.)
Develop the plan as part of the Effective Talent Management process and alongside the Implement Organization Design process.
